Cincy Flames 22, Fairfield Braves 1

Fairfield, OH - The Flames once again came out hitting, and the pitching and defense was stifling as they cruised to their 20th win, which was dedicated in honor of the teams number one fan Grandma Bateman.

Grandson Bateman pitched two scoreless innings, striking out 3 and giving up only 2 hits and no runs to pick up the win. Joey Wenning pitched a perfect inning with 2 ks for the hold, and Ryne Fritz hammered the door shut in the fourth with a strikeout for the save.

Offensively the Flames hit early and often. Bret Bosel led the offense going 3-4 with a 3B, 5 BI, and a R. John Malott went 2-3 with 2 RBI and 3 R, Ryne Poli went 2-3 with 3 RBI, and 3 R and Brandon Mullins chimed in with a 2-4 night with 2 R and 2 RBI. Joey Wenning kept up his hot streak going 2 for 2 with a 2B, an RBI and a 2 R.
